Your Privacy Matters
Still is designed with your privacy as a priority. We believe your personal wellness data should stay personal — on both iOS and Android.
What Data We Collect
Still collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
- Stress/calm moments you log (timestamps)
- Notes and tags you add to moments
- Your app preferences and settings
- Breathing exercise completion data
On iOS, this data is stored on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account. On Android, all data is stored exclusively on your device.
What We Don't Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavior tracking
- Any data to third-party services
Still has no servers. Your data never leaves your device except to sync with your own iCloud account on iOS.
iCloud Sync (iOS)
On iOS, if you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit. This sync is:
- End-to-end encrypted by Apple
- Accessible only to you
- Subject to Apple's privacy policy
You can disable iCloud sync in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.
On Android, there is no cloud sync — all data remains on your device.
Health Data
Still offers optional health integration on both platforms:
- iOS: HealthKit integration reads heart rate data from Apple Watch and writes breathing sessions as Mindful Minutes. Data stays within Apple's Health ecosystem.
- Android: Health Connect integration reads heart rate data from Wear OS and writes breathing sessions as mindfulness sessions. Data stays within Google's Health Connect ecosystem.
On both platforms, you control all permissions. Health data is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Biometric Authentication
Still offers optional biometric protection on both platforms. On iOS, Face ID or Touch ID is processed by Apple's Secure Enclave. On Android, biometric authentication is handled by the device's secure hardware. In both cases, your biometric data is never accessed or stored by Still — it's used only to unlock the app locally.
Subscriptions
Still Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) on iOS and Google (Google Play) on Android. We do not store or have access to your payment information. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous app user ID — no personal data.
Deleting Your Data
You have full control on both platforms:
- Delete individual moments from History
- Export all data as CSV anytime (Pro feature)
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
- On iOS, disable iCloud sync to stop cloud storage
We don't retain any data after you delete it.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates. Continued use of Still after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
